Introduction

As a food writer, I’m constantly on the lookout for new fun, and interesting things to write about. This monthly series focuses on the various foods, goods, and entertainment that we consume daily. In this inaugural post, we’ll start with breakfast:

  • Section: Breakfast is one of my favorite things in the world.
  • I’m always hungry at 5 am so it’s usually a quick trip to Starbucks (or Dunkin’) where I can get some croissants or muffins before heading to work. But there are so many other options for breakfast out there! What’s your favorite?
  • For my last meal before work, it’s usually something simple like eggs Benedict from The Luxe Cafe – they’ve got really good mimosas too! For dinner with friends after work, it might be tacos from Taco Fusion or maybe sushi from Sushi Roll Station.
  • If you’re ever craving something sweet after dinner but aren’t sure what kind of dessert will go well together (or are just looking for ideas), check out these local ice cream places near me: #FoodSparks

TV Show: The Great British Bake Off

The Great British Bake Off is a television show that follows contestants as they compete for the title of “Greatest Baker in Britain.” Each week, three bakers are challenged to create a new dish that showcases their skills from baking bread and pastries to creating cakes and tarts. The judges will then determine who has made the best creation out of all three days’ work and ultimately crown a winner!

The show was created by Love Productions but now airs on Channel 4 in the UK (and PBS in America), where it has been running since 2010. It was one of two award-winning original programming shows nominated for an Emmy Award this year: other nominees included HBO’s Game Of Thrones (#8) & Netflix’s Stranger Things (#6).

Activity: In-person Trivia

In-person trivia is a type of game that involves real-life interaction. The host sets up a board with various questions and their answers, which are displayed on an iPad or other device. Each player takes turns answering questions until they’ve answered all of them correctly. There’s no limit to the number you can answer per round; however, there is a maximum amount of time allowed before the next question must be asked (usually 30 seconds).

Monthly Series

Movie: The Witches (The Roald Dahl movie from 1990)

The Witches is a 1990 fantasy film directed by Nicolas Roeg and starring Anjelica Huston, Mai Zetterling, and Jasen Fisher. The film is based on the 1983 children’s book of the same name by Roald Dahl. It follows three women who are accused of using black magic to murder their children so that they may live together in a world without men or babies.

The film was nominated for two Academy Awards at the 63rd Academy Awards: Best Actor (Anjelica Huston) and Best Actress (Mai Zetterling).

Food: Oat Milk Lattes

Oat milk is a great alternative to dairy milk, as it contains more fiber and fewer calories. It’s also lactose-free, which means that it can be enjoyed by people who are allergic or have lactose intolerance. Oat milk has a rich flavor and creamy texture (just like cow’s milk), so you won’t miss the taste of cow’s milk at all!

If you’re looking for something new in your morning routine, try oat milk lattes they’re delicious!

Good For Filling Out Your Cheekbones

Tarte is known for its high-quality, cruelty-free products which are often sold at the higher end of the price spectrum. This makes them an excellent choice if you’re looking to try something new without breaking the bank (or your bank). The Tarte Shape Tape Contour Kit comes in three shades: Light, Medium, and Dark Tan. Each shade has a different undertone so it can be used as either bronzer or contour powder. It also comes with a small brush for applying makeup that’s perfect for filling out cheekbones and hollowing out your face!

Personality Type: “The Achiever”

The Type 3 personality type is driven and ambitious, perfectionist and strives for excellence in everything they do. They are competitive, wanting to win at all costs. They can be impatient with others who don’t meet their expectations or deliver results quickly enough, intolerant of others who fail to live up to standards they set for themselves, and critical of those who don’t meet their high expectations.

This type has high expectations of themselves as well as others; therefore, there is little room for forgiveness or understanding when someone fails either on an individual level (e.g., losing a job) or a corporate level (e.g., failing an exam). In general, Type 3s tend toward harsh self-criticism while also becoming overly critical towards others around them (especially when it comes down to performance reviews).

Our Monthly Roundup of What We’re Watching, Reading, Eating, and Enjoying This Month

Emily said I’ve been working hard to share links to my outfits more frequently on Instagram Stories, and this black denim jacket that I bought one size larger was the most popular item I shared in the previous month. On the weekends, it’s the perfect piece to throw on over yoga pants and a top knot. When worn with matching sunglasses, it immediately exudes effortless cool. This is a collection of the various things that we’re consuming in our lives. We’ll discuss why they are good for us, how they’ve helped us through tough times, and what entertainment value they offer!

It’s all about the small pleasures, isn’t it? The things that make us happy, but also help us get through our days.

We all have those little things that we do to make our lives a little better, a little easier. The more we think about it, the more things we can add to this list!

Conclusion

We hope you enjoyed reading this month’s recap of our reading, movies, food, and goods! We’re always looking for new ways to bring you content that will inspire and delight your life.
